Colorado Workers' Compensation Attorneys

If you or a loved one suffers an injury in the course and scope of your employment, you may be entitled to payment of certain benefits under the Colorado Workers' Compensation Act. In Colorado, employers are required to purchase and maintain workers' compensation insurance that will provide protection in the event of a work related injury or death. In general, the Colorado Workers' Compensation Act provides for payment of the following benefits:

  • Payment of reasonable and necessary medical expenses from an authorized medical provider
  • Payment of temporary disability benefits during the recovery from your injuries
  • Payment of permanent disability benefits for those injuries which result in permanent medical impairment
  • Payment of permanent and total disability benefits in those cases where the injury prevents you from earning any wages in any employment
  • Death benefits payable to the dependents of worker who is killed in the scope of employment

Workers' compensation claims are administered by the Colorado Division of Workers Compensation. If there is a dispute regarding entitlement to certain benefits or whether or not the claim is compensable, a hearing may be requested before the Office of Administrative Courts.

If you need help in obtaining the benefits that you are entitled to, call us. Our office has been involved in representing injured workers for over twenty years. We possess the skill and knowledge to maximize the recovery of benefits that will help you get back on your feet.
